For our 40th anniversary, our beloved historical characters return in their signature look with accessories and a book, plus packaging inspired by the original box design. Spirited Molly lends a hand on the home front during World War Two. Molly was released in 1986, one of the first eight dolls introduced by Pleasant Company, now American Girl.Premium has:
- An 18" Molly™ doll in a navy-blue knit sweater with a blue, red, and green argyle pattern on the front and a navy-blue wool skirt that reaches her knees
- She has gray eyes and brown hair with bangs that comes styled in two pigtail braids tied with red bows. She has a soft cotton body, and her movable head and limbs are made of smooth vinyl.
- A Meet Molly paperback book with the original cover design

- A pair of round-frame silver metal glasses with a red felt glasses case
- A dickey with a white woven collar and navy rickrack trim that Molly wears under her sweater in place of a full shirt
